Although I have never worked as a caregiver I believe I have plenty of experience. I am a mother of three (ages 18, 15, and 13). Two of my children are considered special needs (my youngest both have learning disabilities). Because of this I have learned the value of patience and understanding. I am newly divorced. During my 20 year marriage I did Home Day Care (mainly for soldier's families...my ex-husband was in the military). For two years I helped take care of my ailing grandfather which I believe was a great experience. Most of the past 20 years I have been a stay at home Mom. During that time I did Home Daycare (as I mentioned earlier). I have a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management which I received from American Intercontinental University (online). I am a good listener, very patient, and consider myself to be a "people" person.
