As a young girl growing up, I always looked after my older neighbors that didn't have their families close by. At that time. to walk to the corner store for milk or picking up the Sunday newspaper. And to help inside the home with preparing a meal or helping a couple with a bath. Whatever was needed. Working in group homes for many years and dealing with clients young and old. For me one of my greatest thing is: when they begin to really recognize and trust me and they know that I am there for them. Then they begin to let me in ..,, they open up. It makes me feel like we have broken barrels down.
