Aloha and good afternoon, my name is Stephanie Soares, however I prefer to go by my Hawaiian name, Napua. I've been working with the developmentally disabled for a little over a year now and I love being a caregiver simply because I love caring for others. I take pride and I am very proud in what I do and try to do my very best possible. Throughout the years I've attended Mt. San Antonio junior college for Hospitality and Restaurant Management plus worked as a server then decided to became a caregiver after my grandmother passed away almost 9-10 years ago and I've missed not only her but caring for her as well. I addition, my parents are another inspiration for me becoming a caregiver. As they mature in age I would rather them not need to worry about who will care for them but instead know that their daughter will take the responsibility of caring for them as they age. Aside from attending school for Hospitality and Restaurant Management, I am currently attending North West College to achieve my goal of first becoming a Licensed Vocational Nurse ( LVN) and possibly Registered Nurse (RN).
