To be a caregiver you have to be a person that loves helping others and are patience and more than anything love what your doing. The reason I became a caregiver was because I wish I could of been there for my dad when he got sick with covid. And I want a a be that person that makes your love one feel safe when I'm around make them smile make them feel love. The most important thing is respect them and treat them with kindness and respect there decisions, because sometimes that person has dementia or alzheimers or feel sacred because they been mistreated from other caregivers. So it's nice to start slowly and little by little win that person's trust.
