I became a caregiver, because I took care of my grandmother for 10 years after my mother passed away. My grandmother lived to be 98, so I experienced many things with her like physical disability, emotional loss, and dementia. I think some qualities that make a good caregiver are a compassionate heart, a faithful person, a willingness to build a relationship, and to prioritize the individuals needs. An achievement that I'm proud of is, I'm a teacher , and in 2009 , I won the principal's award. This award was given for how an individual cared for, and impacted others on the campus.
