It gave me a chance to get to know the patient and spend time with them learn their ways of living but the best thing I loved about it was listening to her life story it was so incredible after 6 months she passed away and it was the hardest thing about that job but I felt so good to be there for her and help her with anything she needed!! After that I fell in love with the idea of being a caregiver so I started a career in the health care field I started working when my daughter was 8 months old and have been a caregiver every since ...I love the elderly and when you get to know these people you learn that most the time you are all they have they look for you to take care of them to come see them spend time with them love them like they are your own family cause really I feel like we're all they have being a caregiver is the best thing anyone can do its an amazing feeling to be able to love other people they become your family!!
