At Bright Star Care I started out as a in home caregiver from Jan 9 to Nov 13 2017 . My duties were light housekeeping, preparing meals ADLs, taking clients to appointments ,grocery shopping and outings. November 13, 2017 I was offered a position at Bright Star care as senior care specialist. Part of my role in this new position were office work, getting supplies ready, paperwork, filling . I also helped with training of new stuff. Helping in the nursing department of Bright Star care too . I made MAR'S list for the nurses , filing and other paper work . I helped out on special cases where we dealt with fiduciaries . I did in home training with the aids that had a difficult clients . Such as bathing and redirecting issues . I would take clients to appointments and run errands . And when we had a caregiver call off work I would go out and fill the shift as I've been trained extensively and I can walk into any home in any situation and be able to deal with the situation at hand. As part of the Bright Star team we also needed to have continuous education every year.
