I am a deeply loving, caring, patient, and compassionate caregiver. I enjoy the elderly, and all ages below that. My mother took care of her mother in our home. She was my first example of a true caregiver. As an aide for three years and a caregiver for a year, I professionally cared for the elderly and ages in between. I cared for mentally challenged and physically challenged individuals. I have worked with the hearing impaired, dementia issues on many levels, the blind, and diabetic challeges. I have the ability to adapt to a multiplicity of situations and personalities. What I enjoy most is providing a positive and safe environment where the client feels of worth. What I like about being a caregiver/aide is the opportunity to care for so many precious individuals young and old. I became a caregiver because it brings such satisfaction and joy. I enjoy playing the piano and reading.
