I began caregiving to look good on resumes and quickly fell in love with the elderly so, I pursued a career in nursing. All of my patients have such a fun and young spirit that, when explored and listened to, can help me in ways I never knew. I became the CNA supervisor at a skilled nursing facility quickly because I discovered that when you love the residents and listen to them and their stories (no matter how many times they repeat them lol) then the money, bad days, long shifts, paperwork, and all the stress becomes secondary.
