I am skilled with being responsible, helpful, I learn quickly, I love to push and motivate others, and I'm someone you can count on! My talents include the ability to make new friends easily, my athleticism (I love sports), and my passion for the outdoors (I love hiking, swimming, fishing, repelling/canyoneering, etc.) I have been certified as a lifeguard and certified as a CNA. I also had the opportunity to be apart of H.O.P.E squad at my High School, which gave me the chance to go into many different public schools and teach kids about fire safety, drug prevention, prevention of bullying, etc. I love making friends...but I'm especially great at connecting with kids and elderly people. Some traits I have that have helped me when it comes to caregiving are, being motivated, loving, enthusiastic, understanding, optimistic, and all around a happy person who is wanting to help. I've always wanted to be a caregiver because of my love for kids and elderly people and my experiences working with them in peer tutor, cna, and hope squad. There is something so special about them and I love to help children and elderly people to continue to learn and grow (no matter their age) and be someone they can count on.

What made me become a caregiver was when my dad was in a recovery home and a patient next to him had no one to visit him and he was so sad. He said to me, "I wish I had a daughter like you". After finding out he had no one, I told him "You just got one". The smile and happiness on his face did it for me. I gave love, hug him and took little things to him he liked.
