I am 36 years old and have been a caregiver, Nursing Assistant since May of 1999 when I was 19 years old. I started out working with the Geriatric population and have since had experience over the years with home health clients. I have also worked in several hospitals settings. I started doing this type of work because I was thinking of becoming a nurse. I enjoyed the idea of helping others have the best quality of life despite having limitations or illness. I have not completed a nursing degree but still enjoy doing caregiver work.
