
My name is Lavinia Saena. Nia for short. I started doing caregiving in 2005 at a facility in Tigard for 2 years. I've always worked in a call center doing customer service but wanted to try something different. I moved to Oregon in 2005 and applied where my cousin was working at the time. She was a caregiver and so I decided I'd try it out. I never thought I'd love doing caregiving for the elderly but I did. I love learning from the elderly people. I love listening to their stories and seeing their smiles. It makes me happy to see them happy. They have taught me patience. For the past 7 years I have worked for Ms Helen. She taught me to stay humble, to listen, and to love harder. I will miss her always. I am willing to learn new things and to go above and beyond to always keep a smile on their face.
