I became a caregiver after working with the food service department at the hospital. I worked on an oncology unit for 2 years and became very passionate about caring for people who were sick. I have always enjoyed helping people but after this experience it became a need for me. I became passionate about serving and helping those in need. I took a PCA class and have been blessed to meet so many great families that appreciate my dedication to their loved ones. A personal achievement was when I successfully did a hospice case for the first time. The way I connected with my patient and her family can not be described in words. I did such an amazing job, I surprised myself! I am a very strong woman with a very loving and happy attitude!
