I have always loved being a caregiver. I have cared for the elderly and children through the last 30 years. The elderly are very important to the world, with what they have learned in their lifetime, I love hearing their stories and making them feel wanted and needed. I have worked for the public for years, as well and I have always been drawn to the elderly. They deserve our time and patience. If I can do things to make getting older easier for them, that is what I do. I like to keep them living instead of just waiting, for their time. I see so many elderly people who just need someone to be there , for them to share their lifetime with. I love listening to what they have to say. I will take them where they need and/or want to go. I want to keep them living the rest of their lives as happy as they can be. I am 44 years old and pray I have someone like me to be with me when I feel like a burden to everyone else. I have been a caregiver to a few different families. I prepare meals, make sure they took their medicines and got their exercise. I took care of Dr. appointments, setting them up and transporting. I would take them where ever they wanted to go, as well. I would be there friend as well as their lifeline to the outside world. The elderly get depressed so easy and I want to help keep that from happening, because they deserve to be happy until the very end. My goal is to give whomever I care for, the best of me. I would love to be the caregiver to the elderly or anybod
