I believe I would be a good care giver because I love working with elderly people. I'm caring and passionate about my work any work I do. I have worked taking care of some elderly people in the past but I did it for free because they were family but it's still experience with elderly people. I'm cpr certified and my own transportation
I have been a trained caregiver for 18 years. I love helping people age in place. I find it so rewarding to help our seniors stay in their homes or wherever comfortable and do activities to help them feel youthful, like exercise and community outings. I am a strong advocate, especially for those who have loved ones who live out of town. I will take your loved one to appointments, gather detailed information, and repot back to you. I also take pride in the fact that I have been able to motivate seniors to take part in task they loose interest in like bathing and meals just to name a few. I look forward to offering my services to more seniors and people of all care needs.
My ability to be a personal caregiver dates back to when I was 11 years of age. I helped prepare meals for my grandmother with diabetes. I cleaned her home and helped for 4 years. This has been a passion all my life, helping others. The only thing I have issues with is bowl cleaning ... I do not know why, but all other items I can handle. My most enjoyable moments is creating laughter and happiness ... Im most proud of my ability to adapt to all issues at hand when dealing this someone needing help. I adapt to any situation and I maintain privacy.
I'm very outgoing person, I love to make my residents laugh or just see them smile to me that is the best reward and payment there is! If they are having a bad day I don't mind making a fool of myself just to see them happy. I didn't choose this profession it choose me, I came into this profession last year not knowing if I would like it or how it would well after working just a week of being a caregiver I absolutely enjoyed it! I love helping people so that was another reason why it choose me!

Helping the disabled or the elderly is a passion of mine. I never thought that I could put a smile on someone's face until I became a caregiver. The reason I became a caregiver in 2009, I was sitting with a retired judge who made me take the caregiving route. I love listening to the stories they have to tell from back in the day. Being able to make them smile or even help them folding their laundry and seeing how much they appreciate what I do.
Well I love helping people and I always knew that the nursing field was the place for me. I love what I do, I believe if you are in it for a check and not for the reward of helping someone with everyday living, this should not be the spot for you to look for a job because you are dealing with living souls whom have lived a life of work and children just like you and they deserve the best care.
