You can always tell when someone takes a job just because it is a job, they do not love what they do and it is apparent. I love what I do, taking care of elders is something I have enjoyed since I was in High School. One of my first jobs was working in a Nursing Home and then later in life, my grandmother & my mother along with some close friends who were like family to me. I always felt I was an old soul which is why I get along with elders so well. I have always loved an old movie and Vintage Clothing, infatuated with a time that has long passed. I have raised 3 wonderful girls who are now all grown, 2 with families of their own and my youngest who is on her own and going to College. In my spare time I refurbish furniture and sell vintage clothing on the internet. I Love the beach and long country drives. I am a very outgoing person who loves people. I feel that when people feel loved they are loving, everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and kindness. Just because someone is up in age does not mean they should be treated as a child, as I learned from my earliest caregiving job. At the end of the day, no matter who I take care of, I know we made the best day we could and will do the same tomorrow..
