As someone who loves to surround herself with diverse groups of people, I thrive on learning new things about people daily and growing relationships. I have lost both my mother and a close family friend's mom to cancer and have assisted and managed both hospice care experiences with them. Going through something that hard makes you more grateful for the amazing community who helps you get through it. If I can be that for anyone else, it will be my honor in life. As a caregiver, you get to walk through life with someone and truly be there in a time of need. It's as much about learning as it is about giving to another person. I want to have the impact of just being a kind human who helps others; we could use so much more of that in this life.
