About Pamela

Hello my name is Pam and I have been a caregiver for 13 years I also am licensed in the state of Virginia. I have been doing Home health and Hospice care for 8. I went in to caregiving after I had worked for the federal service for 28 years. I always knew my calling was to be in this field but I became a mother young and then a single mother and did not go to school until my children were much older. I love being a caregiver to the elderly because I know that they receive the best care and respect and their dignity is kept until my services are no longer needed. It is such a joy to me to see the elderly that I take care of smile everyday and laugh and enjoy life. I have several great references that can be called as to those that I have taken care of whether it be their parent ,their spouse or their mother. I look forward to meeting and speaking with you as to what I can do to care of your loved one. I have had many clients with dementia, diabetes, blindness, unsteadiness. I have worked with Stoke victims and other issues that come with the aging process. I can ensure you that they will be in very caring and loving hands while you are at work or while you are just a way from them during the day or night.

Experience & Education

CNA-Home Health

Sep 2013 - May 2017
John Harn
I took care of John Harns mother and father for 5 years. Mrs. Harn was legally blind and everything needed to be done for her daily adl's, meal preparation, all Transportation Mobility needs as far as assistance with walking, to the restroom, to the table for meals, we would use her plate as a clock and let her know where her food was so that she could feed herself. Mr. Harn when we first started taking care of them was mainly meal prep reminder of medications and showers but he was pretty self-sufficient otherwise. As they both got older more needs were provided to take care of both of them they were a 24-hour client.
