About Claudia

I became a Caregiver to assist those that cannot help themselves any more. I meet some very interesting people and have been blessed to be included with the families on occasion. After someone passes, the spouse is lost and needs companionship that some families cannot provide. I help them become strong again so they can get back to their previous active life with friends and family. I have First Aid/CPR training and Med Tech training. I was an owner/operator of a bakery in the local area and did well for nearly 4 yrs. I learn very quickly, I multi-task for efficiency and am a hard worker.

    As a DSP I assisted with personal care, feeding and bathing of Special needs Individuals. I cleaned the houses, cooked healthy meals, washed laundry and ensured each person was safe. I took their vitals and administered their meds according to a Physicians order. I documented every personal touch and event for each person in the house. As Purchasing Agent, I shopped for the food, personal care items and clothing as needed for each Individual within a house. I prepared menus to meet the dietary needs of each Individual as per Physician orders. I ordered any and all Office supplies to support the Administrative offices i.e., Computers, laptops, All-in-one printers and ink cartridges accordingly. All copy paper, pens, pencils, all items needed when setting up an individual setting, etc.

Personal care includes bathing, changing briefs and /or toileting when needed and dressing for the day or for bed. On overnight shifts, the individuals were assisted with toileting or changing as needed. Both clients were cared for until end of life.
