I am a great care giver because I take my work to the heart which, I word very hard to give the best care that I can give to my patients.I became a care giver because I care about people, and love working with them. I love taking care of people I feel that is my calling from the Lord. I went to college in Human Service to understand what to expect from dealing with deferent types of people. I am very outgoing, work very hard to get where I am at in my life. I do not like being late coming to work or missing days as well. I am a very caring person when it come to patients care. I am looking for some part time work as a care giver or home sitter. I work at the VA Medical Center in Dallas TX as a Nursing Assistant and love what I do. I have been in nursing for twenty seven years.

    my duties includes,bathing, brushing teeth, changing, combing hair, shaving, nail care and many other duties as a nursing assistant. Working in CLC I care for patient needs such as taking them to the toilet, giving them bed pan as needed for bed ridden patients, and emptying foley catheter bags. I had to maintain the medical record of patient’s vitals such as recording temperature, blood pressure, pulse, weight, and asking patient what is their pain level and chart on daily basis. I had to monitoring the health of patients, making note of any change in the condition of a patients. I did wound care such as cleaning wounds and dressing the wound. I had to turn patients to prevent them from getting bed sores. I had to sterilize and clean all equipment immediately after usage. I had to collect urine, stood and sputum samples for the lab. I also worked in the vent unit which I had to suction and clean trach tube to remove mucus. patients coming out of surgery.
