i love being a caregiver it makes me feel good about myself when i help others. i became a caregiver because whren i was younger i use to get sick and i appreciated the help i had for those 3months in the CHKD. Being a caregiver is something i love to do just to see the smiles on the residents face when you help them and show them that you care for them. i get a soft spot in my heart when it comes to my residents because most of them dont have family to come and visit them or make them feel love. i am proud of myself for having patience, because it took a while but i love my work and it made me a better person. I have my CNA certification,CPR and i completed a medication aid program.
