Listening to the many stories and knowledge they have to share. 3.I will be finished with my CNA and med tech by October of this year, both are state certified, Stepping stone to advance myself in my career. 4. I'm originally from North Carolina, Currituck to be exact. I grew up on the Currituck sound where at a young age I came down with many health problems and struggled with them up until my late teen's. But the experience of having to go from doctor to doctor and living in and out of a hospital, it hit me that I wanted to help people and comfort them when their sick and at their worst. A lot of people don't understand how compassion and sympathy and showing that you care and are their for them makes such a huge impact in their life when someone is already feeling hopeless. Just by listening to them and giving them the care and respect they deserve. Making them feel like they are still human and being able to put a smile on their face is a amazing gift to not only give someone but also for myself. Knowing I made an impact in their daily life by just being in it and feeling needed. So as life has progressed I have taken stepping stones to accomplish my goal of eventually being a nurse.
