I am currently in nursing school, with two more semesters to go before I earn my RN degree! I think being in nursing school and having the opportunity to care for patients from all kinds of backgrounds has really molded me into a more caring person. In January of this year I decided to take on a nursing aid job at Sentara Careplex hospital and it has truly changed my life. I never expected to connect with so many of my patients-- and that is what motivated me to find a job as a home health aid. It is more than just a job for me.
