Caregiving is my lifelong passion . My love for caregiving was sparked at an early age due to the fact of being responsible for the care of my aunt my entire childhood she suffered with multiple sclerosis where she was completely paralyzed from the waist down I assisted with all her ADLs Saturday and Sunday as well as her i DLs I also was left alone with her acting as her caregiver for at least 2 hours of day 7 days a week. Growing up I live with my great grandmother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's which later turned into dementia at the age of 15 I was responsible for her care for at least 4 hours a day Monday through Friday by myself I care for her up until her passing shortly after my high school graduation. I enjoy helping my family so much that I wanted to help other families. I did attended HHA courses as well as medication management followed by me pursuing my associates degree in special education in early childhood development I am currently seeking my bachelors in nursing so that I may open up my own private home care business given the opportunity I will prove to be a valuable asset to your team as well as your family
