Caregiving is a calling, it has to come from within the person. A couple of years back, it haunted me to have my aged/ailing mother-in-law live in the village. We could get non-committal caregivers, leaving her alone even for days. unfortunately she rested her case. From then on I took it upon myself to assist a person in need of a caregiver, within my capability for their loved ones. I have taken care of the elderly with Activities of Daily Living and Dementia/Alzheimer's needs. I move from 'where I Am and meet them Where They Are'
