My experience includes working with seniors who are facing various health challenges such as Dementia, Alzheimer's, stroke, Parkinson's, Diabetes, and those recovering from surgery and/or falls risks, or on palliative care/ hospice, etc. Services and skills I provide include, but are not limited to, companionship, grooming, bathing, dressing, feeding, incontinence issues/personal care, mobility issues, comfort care, physical therapist recommended light exercises, post hospital home care, medication reminders, light housekeeping, light cooking, helping with groceries, going to favorite restaurants, shopping, doing errands, escorted medical appointments, church, beauty parlor, park, library, visiting friends, out-of-town travel with seniors/family, various administrative tasks, etc. I am also available to assist seniors during weddings or other large events, etc. I am flexible and travel anywhere my services are needed. CNA license , CPR license and DMV license aviable if needed Since 1992, and worked in nursing home and sunrise assistant living until 2000 part time From 2000 to 2007 I worked for Fedex until my mother got sick and I took FMLA for 3 months But my mother needed me longer so I resigned 2008 I went back to home health care working for an agency visiting Angels 2009 I started working privately for myself until 2014-2015 I started working for another agency Virginia Home Health Care Services 703-822-5252 Back to private 11/30/15 I have worked with special needs, 4 adults and 1 child and 1 teenage through VHCS.
