In 2012 took care of my aging father. Helping people is in my nature and I find it very rewarding. I regularly babysit for children from age 3 - 17. I relocated to Alexandria because my son lives and works in the area. At this time a very part time position would be wonderful for me. If I were to find the perfect placement I would cut back my hours on my main work schedule at garden center. During slower periods in the retail industry, I would have more time for caregiving and babysitting. Any senior that may need help with shopping would be a welcome task. My vehicle is 2019 car.
I have a great deal of compassion for all people so being a caregiver just comes natural for me. I work very well with people, I am kind and kind hearted and I have a positive, happy disposition. I have found that being a caregiver is extremely rewarding. I started out hoping I would be of help/a blessing to others but in the process found that it is both the caregiver and the 'care receiver' that are touched/blessed. I am currently available on alternating weekends (every other weekend) , occasional Mondays, and occasional holidays. I will be happy to provide care / companionship for your loved one on either a consistent or 'as needed' basis.
