I enjoy caring and spending time with seniors. My first experience caring for seniors began when I was 15yrs old. My grandmother had a surgery and I volunteered to assist her with her daily baths and medication. Today I am in school studying to become a Registered Nurse. As a caregiver, I am committed and dependable. Likewise, I am always attuned to the needs of the patient even if he or she does not or is unable to communicate them. I was attracted to being a caregiver because I play a vital role in the life of another person. It can requires dedication, compassion, stamina and hard work. In addition, I am keenly aware that providing care for another person is uncharted territory. And most people are unprepared for this role. There are no courses on how to be a good caregiver. There is no textbook on what to expect. Somehow, I have figured it out. I learn everything I can and get creative when I have to. As well as, I do my best at all times.

I have over 15 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aide. As a caregiver it is my responsibility to make sure that the needs of the patients are met and I'll do everything possible for the patients to receive the required attention. I have over 25 years experience in the medical field of which 12 years I was a paramedic and then began my journey to bedside nursing. I have special training in advanced life support, emergency care, cardiac care, Palliative care and hospice. Ive worked with patients that have Alzheimer's, dementia, sun downers, traumatic brain injury, ending stage renal failure, colostomy, ileostomy, and behavioral health concerns. I'm a cancer survivor as well as a wife of a Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor that has a strong passion to help others. Hourly wage is negotiable based on hours of job.
