I cared for my late mother in-law who had diabetics and i enjoyed every minute of helping her to manage her sugar levels and monitoring and record keeping of all the readings. I am proud of the fact that i had this quality time to be a care giver in my home to my mother as well as to my mother in-law. I have also cared for Senator Jack Edward Jones in Harare Zimbabwe at the age of 18, i had the love to care for seniors. He had been mugged and tripped on his hip bone and underwent surgery, upon discharge from the hospital, i personally managed the care at home until he could get out of bed. I did bed baths and i loved it because i knew he cant do it for himself, then who else if i was present in the home, it had to be me.

I'm Amanda, 30 years old, and a mother of two little boys. I'm well organized, dependable, reliable, caring person with a huge heart and a soft spot for the elderly. I have the opportunity to take care of my Grandmother before and after she was put of hospice care, up until she passed. That alone has made me want to keep caring for others. I enjoy being able to give others company as I stay with a positive attitude. Being able to help others in need is what I enjoy most. A few personal achievements I'm proud of are going to school, raising my boys to be sweet, well mannered little boys, and being the best mom I can potentially be.
