I've been doing this type of career for 28 years and love what I do I also would love to go get my LPN to further my career this fall 2023 then I'll be able to do more an help out more with my clients, then I can now, I wouldn't change my career for anything it what I've wanted to do my whole life and it runs in my family, and I intend to do for rest of my working life, it not a job to me it a career and it like taking care of my own family and love ones, my clients mean everything to me, I'm there for my clients to help them feel safe and comfortable with there ADL and being home, I am proud to have been in my career for over 28 years, an Im proud to add many more years to it, and have my LPN this year 2023, I also have both of my covid-19 shots so I am good to go with the covid-19, I also work with all types of care,

I am a very outgoing person and I love to help others. I love being a caregiver because it is such a rewarding job for me, I have experience working in nursing homes and working one on one with patients.

I have more than 13 years of experience working (full time) with individuals with developmental disabilities. In group, private residential, community, and classroom settings. Also in transportation. I have been told that my compassion towards them is extremely apparent. I am there for the individuals 100%. For their health and well-being but also for their quality of life. I also believe that promoting as much independence as one can have. When I have worked one-to-one or in someone's home that was where I felt I could make the most difference. I have worked in medically intensive houses as well as behavior intensive. I also worked for NYSOPWDD and am required to pass an extensive background check, which I have. I love what I do and have never been told anything other than I do it well. My heart is full when I'm caring for people. I get out of it what I put into it, if not more so. If I can make someone in my care smile, laugh or feel comfort, I feel like my day was a successful one!

Taking care of my elderly Great Grandparents is what persuaded me to start working in healthcare. I love getting to know each and every one one of my residents/clients. I love hearing stories from the "good ole days" I really like getting to know each client on a personal level so we both feel comfortable working together.

My name is Ashley Wilson. I have been working in health care for over 8 years now. I have done at home care as a pca which I am licensed for. I have worked in a nursing home as a CNA in training . I adore all my clients and treat them as if they are family. I always wanted to work in the health field because, care giving comes so natural to me. I love helping others in their time of need. I'm a very compassionate person and I feel as though I enjoy being able to make someone feel as they are not alone and they will always have someone there to help them with the things they are unable to do . Hello I am a 42-year-old mother of 4. I have worn many hats over the years. I have been a drive-thru girl at McDonald's, a waitress, a teacher's aide. I've served ice cream at Stewart's, been a deli-clerk, a pharmacy tech and a cashier. Most recently I am a private home health aide. My client recently passed away. I did everything from bathe him, assisted him with personal hygiene as well as feeding him and administering medication. I took him to his doctor appointments and sat with him while he reminisced about the past. I did light housework as well as cooked meals for him.
