I am a reliable, dependable caregiver that takes the responsibilities of caregiving to heart. I have been working as a caregiver for a company going on 4 years now this December 2023. I also have four plus years of caregiving experience under private care prior to that from 2010 -2015. It's important to me to be conscientious and bring a sense of joy and understanding while caregiving. I enjoy meeting and helping and assisting the elderly on many levels from Homemaking, Companionship, PCA and HHA. Becoming a caregiver actually started with dad when I was a little girl. I did my best to take care of him as I was only under 10 at the time and my dad passed away at the age of 44 when I was 10 years old. So when a family member of mine much later in my life let me know about an opportunity to work for an elderly couple in their mid-90s in the area and I thought I would only be there for a short period of time and that was my first actual caregiving experience as a job and I had the interview and started the next day and that was back in 2010. It was a profound and wonderful experience on many levels. I enjoy the most a sense of helping and assisting the elderly in a variety of capacities that allows them to stay at home. I enjoy meeting new people and all the experiences that the elderly have to offer in their life experiences as well sharing in life's journeys together and bringing joy and happiness into their lives as well... It's hard to pinpoint a personal achievement I am proud of. I am proud of many achievements throughout my work in homecare Caregiving... What I do know as a personal achievement is that I connect with many different types of people and I bring a connection with each of them differently as each elderly person and their environments are different. I bring an understanding to the many different levels of caregiving ... I also took courses through Care Academy to become a home health aide.

I really enjoy helping people, I find it to be the most fulfilling thing you can do in life.
