Hello my name is Jessica iv been in the medical/caregiving field for well over 17 years experience , I love what I do I love helping people I am 38 years old I have a 13 year old son who I adopted at birth. I have decided to get back in the work field. I've been working part time and ready to go back full time! now that my son is older and I'm ready to get out there and do what I love! Im very dedicated to my work I catch on fast and very easy to get along with and very dependable I give my all! My name is Margaret and I am actively seeking a caregiving position. I have been with my current client for 3 1/2 years but the time has come to make a change. I am a Dementia and Alzheimer's specialist. I am experienced in Memory Care. Memory Care clients are my favorite people in all of healthcare! Though my first pick is with the Dementia and Alzheimer's clients, I have had other clients with other conditions, such as, stroke, diabetes and congested heart failure etc.. In 2011 when my ex mother in law became sick I became one of her caregivers. It was then that I realized how much I enjoyed caring for her. I do believe this is my calling. I was once offered a position as manager of a home health company. I did not think I could do that job. I was right because I need to be the caregiver not the office person. I love my job. I like everything about caregiving. I love my seniors. I love their stories and their laughter. I'm happy when they are happy. I look forward everyday to seeing my seniors. I love cooking, cleaning and fussing over my seniors, so I'm a natural at caregiving. Remember if you love what you do it's never a job. My fee starts at $25 an hour. My fee increases if the shift is split. Also would like employer to pay a share of taxes. I am currently working for $24 an hour but I am not so sure that after 36.5 months it's working.
