I make a great caregiver because I am not only empathetic , caring and patient, but I also upgrade my skills every year so they are always current. Most of my caregiving experience has been with stroke, heart attack, dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice care, elderly, memory issues, drug addiction, over all care, schizophrenia, and infant care. I particularly find enjoyment in elder care. I took care of my father at his end of life, and believe that all individuals deserve to be treated with respect, love and to be safe. I currently take care of my younger brother who suffers from a variety of medical issues derived from his stroke. I began my work career as a designer and computer engineer, but gave up the latter to take care of my father and brothers. It is very fulfilling.
