From 2011 to 2016 I started out as an nar then can andwas fortunate to work a long side PTA and PT's as a restorative aid. I enjoyed working in assisted living facilities. It provided the opportunity for me to provide care in a dementia unit as well as work along side residents/patients who suffered with a wide variety of nature of illnesses and long term trauma that a patient might have sustained. I also worked as a med tech and administered medication to diabetic and non diabetic residents/patient's. Greatful to have had not only the knowledge, experience but most important to me was the people I took care of and provided companion ship. Its been an amazing experience to have. In 2017 I became a emergency medical technician and volunteered for Spokane amr and deer park working as an EMT alongside other great professional EMTs, paramedics who taught and expanded my knowledge. Being an EMT is a profession I plan to stay and grow in. However due to the pandemic.. I had to take a break so I could focus on my two children and their home school education. Now that I have more time available. Id like to provide care and companionship to others.
