The health care field became a calling to me, when I became unhappy with the manner in which my father was being cared. I saw that most were not willing travel, as well. I was slowly able to get trained while still assisting with his care. I can empathize with patients and their families because I have been on both sides. When working with a patient, that patient is not just a number - and I will do whatever I can to help. Quite often, I am called into situations where a nurse/caregiver/health aide, etc. Has quit, did not show or had an emergency of some sort. This gives families flexibility. I want to help as much as I possibly can, in order to assist with the patient feeling as well as possible as well as the family. This includes asssisting on trips. This way the family can enjoy their time together. I also assist pre and post op, with patients, so they can get home as soon as they are ready. I have also worked with patients loved ones who need someone to stay with their spouse or relative who may be incapacitated by Alzheimers, Parkinson's disease, and many other diseases. My goal is to work with everyone.

From a young age I began visiting neighbors that were lonely, a spouse had passed and needed some tender loving care. As an adult I began my career. I love to sit and listen to family stories as well as housekeeping, meal prep, engaging in activities, bathing assistance. All of the things that assist with maintaining personal care and dignity. My compassion is deep for those that need care. I'd like to be a part of your life adding laughter and care to you and your family.
