I am a nurse in the Philippines and still working on my Nursing Licensure Exam here in the US. I have been in the caregiving line of work for 7 years now. I worked in New Zealand as a Health Care Assistant at the different hospitals for almost 3 years and worked in both home care setting and adult family homes here in the US for 4 years now. Caregiving is a tough job and as the years passed by, I gained many experiences which taught me a lot of things, one of them is that, every single person has their own unique personality which helped me understand why they react/respond to certain situations differently. Despite the challenging job of being a caregiver, I've learned how to love and enjoy it especially when the clients appreciate what I do for them and that gives me pride and joy knowing that I somehow, make a difference in their lives.
