In 2000 my mother was diagnosed with COPD, Enlarged heart and some other health problems, we got a caregiver to come and help her while I was in school, but the care giver really did not like her job so, I got my GED and started taking care of my mom my self. After my mother passed in 2007 I made it my goal in life to help others. I am currently in college for my CNA. When I first began my clinic AL's and we met the patients at the nursing home I realized that this is where I want to start my career. Caregiving is a career that I am proud to have chosen for myself.
