I never thought caregiving was for me. Up until I cared for my grandfather. It came natural for me. That's when I knew I was a caregiver. It wasn't until I worked at Harbor Place at Cottsemore that I was a server and saw how the caregivers worked with their residents that that's when I knew I wanted to further my career as a caregiver and maybe go as far as a lpn. I achieved my HCA license last year in December and that was an accomplishment itself. Now that I am certified I'd like to find one on one clients and/or cooperations to work for.
