1.When I was about 12y.o.,I started volunteering in a local nursing home. I loved reading patients their mail and helping them with meals. After high school, I went to the University of Washington and graduated from the school of Nursing. I loved working in long-term care but RNs with 4 year degrees usually become paper pushers.After15 years, I did only homecare and non nursing jobs. I love in home care because it allows me time to give proper pt. care. 3. My nsg. background and home care experience has allowed me a chance to return some of the many favors my parents have done for me over the last 60 years. They are in their late eighties and I am proud to be able to help out where I can.
