Being a caregiver is a commitment that one has to have in her or his heart. It is not just about money but it is a calling from the most High God. It is my believe that when you do service to mankind, you are doing it to God. I was my late mother's caregiver for many years after she lost a leg through amputation and this made me have a strong desire to help other people. God gave me the desire of my heart. I have given care to several people and I feel satisfied anytime I make a difference, however slight, in somebody's life. . I remember a case where I was given a client who was bedridden and his family had no hope for him ever walking again but after two months he was up on his feet. I used to give him confidence telling him that he could walk again and for sure he did. All a caregiver needs is to be patient and never lose focus on what he or she is doing.
