I became a caregiver once my dad became really ill with Lukiema and heart problems. I wanted to be able to learn and experience working with the elderly who couldn't take care of themselves and kind of prepare myself for taking care of my dad. It's hard to answer what makes me a great caregiver, I honestly just love caring for others. I love getting just a simple smile out of them or a laugh. It makes me feel really good inside knowing the work I do is beneficial and it's truly rewarding at the end of the day when I go home knowing I did good.
