Hello, my name is Elisa I am 59 years old My caregiving started in 1995 , as my Mother became ill , I knew she would want a high level of in home care that I would personally be able to provide. As her illness became more advanced , it was important to me that she be able to stay in her home where she would be more comfortable. A few time a week turned into every day, then several hours a day. My Mothers wishes to be at home in her time of need was fulfilled . And it was a blessing and a honor to be there for her. I found myself wanting to give other families the same opportunity my Mother was given. I continued working closely with other families as well as with the IHSS of King Co. from 1995 till 2001.Then in California in Contra Costa Co. From 2002 - 2009 then , I returned back to Washington State where I have continued my work with private families. I am available to start giving the best care to your loved ones or yourself and give the same opportunity to remain safely in your home. I am currently approved, on the Home Health Care Registry . Becoming a caregiver for me its an opportunity to show your loved ones of how much you appreciate all they have done for you.ln saying that to take care of somebody else's loved one its an honnor to share that love and the care that their families have entrusted me to be with their loved ones. The thing l love about caregiving is to be the hands,eyes, hears, feet for someone that needs my full attention in whatever they lack in their everyday living. My achivements working as a caregiver is to put a smile on their faces when they come across difficulties in their everyday living is an achivement of its own. I am a 39yr old male, athletic,with the ability to lift 100-150lbs, loves to cook,bake, very gentle, open minded, lm patient, loves people, easy to learn new things, easy to get along with. I grew up in a culture where lve seen and we were taught that our loved ones are taken care of by family members.So growing in that culture for me, its part of our life. l have cared for paraplegic, quadriplegic, dementia, ALS, alzhimers,cancer patients, hospice and just companion.With that being said lve worked with both female and males.
