About Timothy

Becoming a caregiver is a result of being a recent survivor of Leukemia. Those individuals that cared for me during my illness lest a lasting impression on me. I enjoy taking care of people, a kind of paying it forward process, as I know I will be there someday. What am I most proud of? Earning my Wings as a Marine Aviator, leading Marines and seeing them go on to very successful careers. And subsequently earning major leadership awards at an aerospace company. I enjoy teaching and learning. Everyone has something to teach! You just have to be a student, when they are teaching! :) I have been previously certified in Advance first aid, and have a significant knowledge of holistic and pharmacology.

I am 66 years old and have been doing this for a little over 12 years and love what I do. I started when a couple different neighbors of mine were ill and didn't have any family to help them. I had my CPR CERT so I said why not and when they were doing better I decided to make this my work. (Experience through: IHSS, CARE.COM, CARELINX & CAMBRIAN HOME CARE) The first client I had was in very bad shape when I met him, diabetes, renal failure, heart failure, living on his own, not keeping up with his meds or taking his insulin properly. I called his Dr. got him on a med schedule and with the right food, TLC and exercise he did quite well. Since then I have had several different clients, one was on hospice and others I took to Dr appts., med Mgmt. , meal prep, errands and companionship.
