I have been working in the hospita’s float pool department whereby I have gained experience in all corners of the hospital Protecting hospital's value by keeping patient information confidential Maintaining the patient's health and hygiene and keeping the environment sterile Transporting patient who are going or coming back from procedures e.g Xray, MRI,GI Lab, CT Scan and also patients who are being discharged from the hospital. Helping Nurses during admission of new patients by allocating them the resources ordered by the doctors e,g connecting them to the Tele monitor, connecting them to the oxygen supply depending on the level of their O2 Basic Patient care e.g incontinence care; cleaning patients and making notes of any skin change and reporting the same to the registered Nurse. Taking Vital signs and recording for the patients and In case, the patient shows any abnormalities on inspection of the vital stats, then the inform the Nurse as soon as possible. Checking the Patients’ Inputs and Outputs to find out how the patient’s body is functioning Repositioning & Transporting the Patients Helping in the ambulation and other ADLs Taking care of 1:1 patients and making sure they are out of danger e.g by removing any tools that can harm them Assisting patients when feeding especially the ones who are 1:1 feeding schedule
