Hey there, My name is Melody DeGrave and I live in Green Bay. I am currently a Certified Medical Assistant/LPN. I previously worked as a CNA for 7 years in Nursing homes, assisted living facilities, Rehab facilities and Disabled homes. I have been a nurse for 5 years at Aurora Healthcare working as a float nurse in OB/GYN, behavioral health, pediatrics, family practice and internal medicine. I recently started a new position with St Elizabeth hospital in the heart and lung unit. I previously took care of a paraplegic man in his home for 3 years with a hoyer lift. I would go to his home every morning before work and give him a shower/ get him ready for the day and give him any meds or apply any topicals he may have needed. I loved doing this, I am capable and I am more than willing to help where help is needed. I currently work Monday-Thursday 830:430. I would be willing to help any times outside of those hours. As a child I grew up working with my mom at hospitals and nursing homes while she was a CNA. By the time I reached High School I knew what I wanted to do, take care of people and show love to the people who need it most. I decided to get my license early in High School so that my first job ever would be my career. I am the best candidate to take care of your loved ones because they deserve someone who cares about how they feel, what they want out of life, and most importantly who will love them as family.
