I know after taking care of my mother in her home how hard it is to find good help. I am semi-retired...I want to help with a family/families that are trying to keep mom or dad out of the nursing home or just need temporary help for recovery. I prefer 2nd or 3rd shift hours, but may consider otherwise.

I decided to follow a career in the health field when I helped take care of my grandmother when she was in a nursing home for rehabilitation after a car accident. My older sister was always my idol. She became a nurse and I always admired her with her job and all that she does for other people who are in need. I decided to pursue in the same field. I enjoy helping others. I am a very giving and compassionate person. I take my job seriously, and don't expect anything in return. My reward is seeing smiling faces of those I help and knowing that they are completely appreciative of everything I do because I am not obligated to do so. I am proud of starting school to continue my education. I had financial issues and had to take a break, but I am determined to finish and get my RN. A little something about myself, I live on my own with my boyfriend and his 3 year old son. I also have a dog. I enjoy spending time with my family and my boyfriend's family. I am looking to add on to my small family, but the jobs I have had have not allowed me to be financially stable just yet. I am looking to get paid decently for all the work that I do as a CNA. CNAs don't always get competitive pay. Thank you for your time.

Hi I'm Amber I've been a caregiver for about 5 years I have recently in the past 1 got my CNA certification, I have also done hospice care I like being a caregiver because I love helping people anyway I can. I enjoy this line of work because it lets me gain bonds with people that may not have a family or anyone to help them.

I have had a passion for health care & mostly the elderly population since I was in Kindergarten. However, I enjoy helping anyone who needs my assitance. I became a care giver because of the need & my own self satisfaction of helping others. I am proud to say I have been a Medical Assistant for the past 20 plus yearsr but feel I have come to a point in my career where the clinic setting has becomemore of a business and not very personal & caring. In the office setting you are rushed to room patient's that it has taken over the personal touch that I was proud to give. I feel the home setting you can be one on one which probably makes the patient feel more comfortable & the focus of why we are there to help them. I enjoy helping others to make their lives as full and content for them as possible.
