I enjoy helping others that are unable to do for themselves. As a caregiver it makes me feel good to see the face of a person when they are happy, or content. Helping others with daily living functions is important to me, because everyone needs a helping hand at some point and me being able to assist and know that helping them or just listening to them and help them do things that they can't do, just makes my heart melt. Becoming a certified nurse assistant was the best choice I made. I know how it feels to have to see a family member down and out and unable to do for themselves, and how they feel knowing they have always done for themselves. I lost both parents to cancer, and the struggle was hard to watch them go down hill, when in fact at one point in their lives they were very independent. I am all about my patients, I am here to assist them as well as their family's.
