Well I started caregiving in 1985 when my dad was diagnosed with cancer, my mom had to work so I became his main helper. The comfort he felt knowing someone was caring for him out of love made the transition is for him. So when he passed away, I decided I wanted to take care of people because I felt that was what God purposes for me to do. One of my biggest accomplishments as a caregiver was being recognized as employee of the year at my first job as a caregiver. I went on to house manager over five houses for memory care.
