I became a caregiver because I am a compassionate person, and enjoy helping others that needs that extra hand, or can not do it themselves. I have worked with the elderly, and also those that just need someone that needs that extra help. Such as bathing, cooking, cleaning, running errands, medication help. I have recently worked with an elderly woman in her home, with the need of peg tube feedings, and medication administration. My most personal achievement that makes me the most proud is that any lives that I have touched, I always get a wonderful feedback from them. I am 52 years old, and have plenty of experience with "TLC". I have 2 children, ages 32 and 22, and a6 year old grandson, all whom live out of state. I live with just my husband who works full time, often traveling, so my hours of availability are open when he is gone. I will ask to work weekdays, but can work weekends while he is gone. Our time together is often scarce.
