I became a caregiver because there is no better feeling than when you put a smile on the face of another. I love making people happy. I have been able to establish a personal relationship with residents / clients and have been able to comfort them during a time of agitation slightly easier than most of my coworkers, I took care of my grandfather while he was suffering through his final months of prostate cancer. Since the day of my grandfathers passing I made a promise to myself that I would always be sure to care for every resident / client as if they were one of my family members, and would give them the best care that I could give.
